Alexa is not Responding on Voice

If your Alexa is not responding to voice commands, make sure your Echo has an internet connection. It is a simple step and worth it to make sure that if your Echo and Alexa is plugged in and have an internet connection. Having no internet connection might be the issue of Alexa’s ignoring you.

Make sure that your Echo’s microphone is turned on. If your Alexa is showing red light then probably your microphone isn’t working. Press the microphone button on the top to turn it on. The LED indicator will show a solid blue light, and your Alexa is ready to respond.
